Voter Registration

Be sure to have your voice heard. To be eligible to vote in an election, you must register at least 15 days prior to the election date. Register to vote by clicking below or by visiting the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's  website.

You must re-register if you:

• Move
• Change your name
• Change your political party affiliation

Vote by Mail Ballot

All registered voters in Los Angeles County will be mailed a Vote by Mail ballot. Vote in the safety of your home by returning your Vote by Mail ballot.

Mailing of Vote by Mail ballots are mailed no later than 29 days prior to Election Day.

How to Return your Ballot

There are multiple options on how to return your ballot:

• By mail
• At any participating Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Box location
• At any Vote Center in L.A. County

Vote Centers

Los Angeles County voters can vote at any vote center throughout the County over a 11-day voting period .

Vote Centers provide modern features to make voting safe, easy, and convenient. Vote Centers also serve as a Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Box location.
