Jeopardy: Women's Empowerment Edition

March is Women's History Month!  This year marks the 100th anniversary of when the 19th Amendment was ratified, guaranteeing women the constitutional right to vote in the United States.  To celebrate this important movement that changed the face of voting in the United States, LA County Library is holding events across their libraries to look back at women’s suffrage and the historical figures that lead the charge to women winning the vote. The year 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, which gave American women the right to vote. Through a game of Jeopardy, learn about the women’s suffrage movement and other acts of civic engagement throughout American history.

Parents: Please be aware that refreshments will be served at this program. A list of ingredients will be available at the program.
