With 2020 Census fast approaching, the City of Bell Gardens invites all stakeholders to join the Bell Gardens Complete Count Committee (CCC) as every participant’s expertise, knowledge, and trusted voice is vital to ensure our community is counted.
Complete Count Committees are volunteer committees established by tribal, state, and local governments and community leaders or organizations to increase awareness and motivate residents to respond to the 2020 Census. CCCs serve as state and local “census ambassador” groups that play an integral part in ensuring a complete and accurate count of the community in the 2020 Census. Success of the census depends on community involvement at every level.
The fourth meeting of the City of Bell Gardens Complete Count Committee will be held on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bell Gardens City Hall - EOC room (2nd floor). This meeting will also serve as an informational meeting, to discuss all questions regarding the census.
For more information about our community’s CCC, please call (562) 806-7703 or hsoto@bellgardens.org. Please RSVP if you are planning to attend.
