The Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count will be held January 21, 22, and 23, and covers all LA County.
Thousands of volunteers sign up to join the Homeless Count in their community every year.
Volunteering is safe and easy! You will receive training and walk or drive through designated areas in small groups. By volunteering, you will be helping collect data that is critical in measuring our successes, informing policies and allocating funding to help fight the homelessness crisis.
We can only effectively help people experiencing homelessness by developing a full and accurate picture of this crisis. LAHSA accompanies the street count with institutional counts, demographic surveys, a youth count, and statistical analysis in partnership with the University of Southern California.
