TENANT RENT STABILIZATION ORDINANCE WORKSHOP

Please join the City's Community Development staff and legal counsel as we discuss the newly adopted Rent Stabilization and Tenant Eviction Protections Ordinance. The Ordinance is due to become effective on October 12, 2022. We want to ensure every tenant understands the ordinance. Among the topics of discussion, we will be reviewing exemptions, catch-up provisions for property owners who are below market rent, substantial improvements provisions, rent increase caps, and just cause eviction provisions.
