REVISED CONSTRUCTION TRAFFIC ALERT - EXPECT TRAFFIC DELAYS

GARFIELD AVENUE, FROM PARK LANE TO GALLANT STREET: LA COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT SEWER REHABILITATION WORK

LA County sewer line rehabilitation work will continue Tuesday May 31, through Friday, June 10, during the work hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This work will involve lane closures on northbound and southbound Garfield Avenue, from Park Lane to Gallant Street. One lane of traffic will always remain open for through traffic on Garfield Avenue.

All left turn pockets at the intersection of Garfield Avenue at Park Lane/Ira Avenue will remain closed.  For traffic coming from Ira Avenue and from Park Lane, drivers will only be allowed to turn right.

These additional traffic control measures are necessary for safety and will be in effect for 24 hours through duration of the project. The appropriate signage and devices will be deployed to inform drivers.
