I-710 & Florence Avenue Interchange Improvement Project Community Meeting

Please join Assemblymember Cristina Garcia and Caltrans District 7 Director Tony Tavares on March 16 from 6:00-7:00PM for a Town Hall regarding the I-710 Florence Ave Interchange Improvements. Please see attached flyer to participate virtually, by phone, or in-person.

Last year, Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia  worked with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and the State Legislature to invest $5 million into improvements along the I-710 and Florence Avenue Interchange to make it safer for pedestrians and cyclists. This interchange is key to the flow of our local economy and remains busy all day with cars driving and people walking. However, enhancements are needed to manage the traffic and, most importantly, to prioritize pedestrian safety.

Caltrans, in partnership with Assemblymember Cristina Garcia, proposes to implement pedestrian and bicyclist improvements at the I-710 and Florence Avenue interchange. Caltrans staff will listen to your ideas and suggestions, as well as present some recommendations to improve safety and accessibility at the freeway ramps including, but not limited to, shorter crossings, more signage and roadway markings, lighting, and beautification.

When: Wednesday, March 16, 2022 6:00pm-7:00pm

Where (In-person, Virtual, by Phone): Bell Community Center
6250 Pine Ave, Bell, CA 90201
