In observance of Thanksgiving Day, Bell Gardens City Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 24, 2022. Regular business hours will resume on Monday, November 28, 2022. The following City offices will also be closed:
-Bell Gardens Veterans Park Office Closed on 11/24 and 11/25
-The Community Family Service Center at Veterans Park Closed on 11/24 and 11/25
-Senior Centers (Clara St. and Veterans Park) Closed on 11/24 and 11/25
-Ford Park Main Office Closed on 11/24 and 11/25
-Sport Office Closed on 11/24 and 11/25. Fields will be closed to the general public and available by reservation only.
-Bell Gardens Veterans Park Game Room Closed on 11/24 and 11/25
-Neighborhood Youth Center Closed on 11/24 and 11/25
-Public Works Office Closed. To report emergencies, please contact the Police Department.
-City Planning, Building & Safety, Business License, and Economic Development Offices Closed
-Code Enforcement Office Closed. Urgent matters to be referred to the Police Department
Other City offices, programs and services:
- There will be no street sweeping and trash collection on Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 24, 2022. When there is no street sweeping, it will NOT be made up. Streets can only be swept on the posted day.
-COVID-19 Testing Clinic at Veterans Park will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25, 2022.
-Supper Program meals will not be distributed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25, 2022.
-Golf Course will remain open on Thursday, November 24 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., last tee at 1:00 p.m. Golf Course will remain open on Friday, November 25 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., last tee at 3:00 p.m.
-The Dial-A-Ride (DART) and Trolley will NOT operate on Thursday, November 24. On Friday, November 25, the Dial-A-Ride (DART) will operate from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Trolley will operate on its regular schedule.
-Police Department services will not be impacted by the holidays and will continue to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
-Public Records Request submitted during the holiday closure will be deemed received by the City Clerk’s office on Monday, November 28, 2022.
-No passport service appointments.
-Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the Bell Gardens Farmers Market will not operate on Friday, November 25, 2022.
