In observance of Cesar Chavez Day, Bell Gardens City Hall will be closed on Monday, March 28, 2022. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. The following City offices will also be closed:
* Ford Park Main Office Closed
* Sport Office Closed / Fields open for free play
* Veterans Park Office Closed
* Senior Center Closed
* The Community Family Service Center (at Veterans Park) Closed
* Public Works Office Closed (To report emergencies, please contact the Police Department).
* City Planning, Building & Safety, Business License, and Economic Development Offices Closed
* Code Enforcement Office Closed (Urgent matters to be referred to the Police Department)
Other City offices, programs and services:
* COVID-19 Testing Clinic will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Veterans Park.
* COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic - Pfizer 1st, 2nd and Booster (12+ Years Old) will be open from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Veterans Park.
* Supper Program meals WILL be distributed on Monday, March 28 (Ford Park, Veterans Park, Neighborhood Youth Center).
* Job Corps at the Community Family Service Center will remain open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
* Neighborhood Youth Center Game Room, Neighborhood Youth Center Afterschool Programs open 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
* Golf Course will remain open 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., last tee at 4:30 p.m.
* Dial A Ride reduced service (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
* No Senior Bus service.
* Trolley will not be impacted by the holiday.
* Street Sweeping / Trash Collection Schedule will NOT be impacted by the holiday.
* Sand & Sandbags are available at the Fire Station - LA County Fire Department - 7000 Garfield Ave. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
* Police Department services will not be impacted by the holidays and will continue to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
* Public Records Request submitted during the holiday closure will be deemed received by the City Clerk’s office on March 29, 2022.
