Bell Gardens Scholars Program
City of Bell Gardens is awarding Class of 2021 High School Seniors merit scholarships.
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
The City of Bell Gardens will provide scholarships for eligible Bell Gardens residents who are in 12th grade and in pursuit of higher education and/or trade school. Scholarship can be used towards the
payment of class registration, school transportation, textbooks, school supplies, etc. The funds will be paid directly to the qualified students after proof of eligibility has been provided.
WHO CAN APPLY
All students who are in 12th grade regardless of immigration status and reside in Bell Gardens.

1st place $3,000
2nd place $2,000
3rd place $1,000
Honorable Mention $500
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Must reside in the City of Bell Gardens
- Must be a High School Senior
- Submit high school transcripts
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above
- Must complete application and Essay
- Provide proof of Bell Gardens Residency:
- Utility Bill
- Car Registration
- Copy of CA ID/License
Submission due date: Friday, May 28, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
