The City of Bell Gardens has initiated the Bell Gardens Scholar Program for its residents enrolled in an educational institution and pursuing higher education. ⁠

If you are interested, you must have a GPA of 2.5 or above to apply.⁠

Complete a preliminary application of which the top ten (10) high school and college candidates with the highest GPA will automatically be awarded the grant (after providing proof of residency, GPA, and school enrollment). All other applicants will be selected through an online lottery.⁠

If selected from the lottery, you will be notified by e-mail to complete the process. Applicants will be required to submit proof of registration, residency, and GPA requirement.⁠

You can pick up an application at the Bell Gardens Community Family Service Center located at 6662 Loveland St.⁠

The deadline to submit is Friday, September 25, at 5:00 p.m.⁠
