FREE TAX PREPARATION EVENT
The Office of Congressman Robert Garcia is hosting a Free Tax Preparation event on April 8th. Tax forms will be prepared by IRS-certified volunteers for community members who generally earn $60,000 or less.

WHAT YOU NEED:
• Proof of identification (photo ID)
• Social Security cards for you, spouse & dependents
• Proof of foreign status, if applying for an ITIN
• Birthdates for you, spouse & dependents on return
• Wage & earnings statements W-2, W-2G,1099-R, 1099-Misc) from all employers
• Interest & dividend bank statements (Forms 1099)
• Health Insurance Exemption Certificate
• Copy of previous federal & state returns
• Proof of bank account & routing number (blank check)
• Married-filing-joint tax returns needs both spouses present to sign in order to file electronically
• Forms 1095-A, B&C Health Coverage Statements
• Copies of income transcripts from IRS & state
